Booking Terms and Conditions
1. Booking requests
Submitting the form is an invitation to provide services and does not create an accepted booking. A contract is formed only when we send a clear confirmation email. We may refuse a request because of availability, location, safety, suitability, pricing error, suspected misuse or another reasonable operational reason.
2. Services and scope
The confirmed email describes the agreed service, date, approximate duration and price. Unless expressly agreed, services do not include regulated personal care, nursing, medical advice, controlled activities, specialist trade work, hazardous waste, structural work, or tasks requiring qualifications, licences or insurance we do not hold.
3. Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, safe access, suitable utilities and equipment where agreed, disclose known hazards, secure pets where necessary, protect valuables, and ensure you have authority to instruct work at the property. We may stop or refuse work where conditions are unsafe, unlawful, abusive or materially different from the request.
4. Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are shown before submission and confirmed before payment. VAT is charged only when the business is VAT registered and the invoice states a VAT number. Payment becomes due in accordance with the invoice. Third-party payment providers may apply their own terms.
5. Changes, delays and access
Appointment times are estimates affected by travel, earlier work, traffic, weather and emergencies. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material delays. Additional work, time or costs require agreement before being added.
6. Quality and remedies
Services will be provided with reasonable care and skill. Please report concerns promptly and allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, repeat or remedy the affected work. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
7. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of mandatory consumer law. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses suffered by consumers, or loss caused by inaccurate instructions, undisclosed hazards or customer-supplied items.
8. Electronic communication
You agree that confirmations, notices, invoices and receipts may be provided electronically to the email address supplied.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in another competent UK jurisdiction.
